Slite Shipping Date

Hi Slite Family,

Finally, we can confirm that we will be shipping w/c 20th February.

We understand and apologize for the frustration caused. Our proposed timeline was hampered by lockdowns, subsequent workforce shortages, part delays, holiday periods and more. But - as was always our intention, and will always be our promise - we wanted to deliver the best Slite possible. We can say with confidence this has been achieved and - following our workforce’s return from Chinese New Year - we'll enter the final phase and start shipping.

Again, our sincerest apologies. Whilst our timeline was ambitious, the disruptions faced by the technology and manufacturing industry over the last two years were completely unforeseen. We've now learnt important lessons in how to mitigate impact on our ability to manufacture with greater preparedness for challenges, unforeseen or not.

We're excited that we can finally give you a shipping date. It's been incredibly frustrating, but as a team we would prefer never to lie or speculate, but rather only provide information when we can with the greatest accuracy and confidence.

Slite Diffuser in action!

Hey Slite Family,
A few of you wanted to see the Slite diffuser in action - so here's a short video.

Able to snap on and off easily with magnets, the Slite diffuser shows just how easy it is to achieve soft, beautiful light. The diffuser takes around 1 stop of light, and creates a very balanced and even output that is perfect for shooting people. So wherever it is you're shooting, you can pack pro-lighting and accessories with you without the large footrpint. Just don't forget the bug spray on location!

As you can see our Slite lights and free smartphone app - which is now live in app stores, so check it out! - are mind-blowing and ready for the world.

As always, we’re holding every element of Slite to the highest standards and in adherence to our core values. One of those values is sustainability, and the custom packaging we’ve developed has unfortunately been delayed. We’re extremely frustrated - and we can not imagine how frustrated you are! - but it's important that we uphold this important value of sustainability and deliver you the best Slite experience possible. Rest assured we’ll be letting you know the minute we have a firm delivery date on the packaging, so we can then ship out your Slite(s).

We know this is not ideal, but in the spirit of transparency, we’re trying to keep you as up-to-date as possible and live up to our promises of a top quality product, without compromise, in every aspect.

As always, please feel free to message or email with any questions, and hopefully this goes some way to re-assuring you that the Slite light is very much ready to go. You’ll be hearing from us the minute we get firm delivery timings on the packaging. And - it goes without saying - that you'll be the first buyers in the world to have a Slite in-hand!

Slite App - Groups and Scenes

Slite manufacturing update.

Hi Slite Backers!

Alex again. This time we wanted to share a quick video addressing questions re: manufacturing delays.
As you can see we’re on the home stretch, troubleshooting the last of the cosmetic issues. As soon as they’re resolved, we’ll start the manufacturing process which takes approximately two weeks and then: time to ship!
